Ed joined Ayr Chiropractic Centre in 2003. He studied a full time five year course at the
Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, before returning to Scotland.
Ed is a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association and is registered with the
General
Chiropractic Council (GCC), a statutory body that has regulated chiropractic in the UK since
June 2001.
The GCC ensures only safe, properly trained practitioners can call themselves ‘chiropractor’,
providing quality assurance for patients.
Ed was also the first International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) registered
chiropractor in Scotland. He is fully certified through the International Academy of Veterinary
Chiropractic in the treatment of both large and small animals with a particular interest in dogs.
In the past Ed has worked at several vet practices using his veterinary chiropractic. However, now there is a purpose built animal treatment room at the centre in which Ed treats animals.
When not at work Ed enjoys spending time in the Scottish hills with his dog Loki.
